Pizza Express Gibraltar announced its participation in the iconic “Snowball Dough Ball” day on Tuesday 19thNovember, offering a sweet, festive twist on its traditional dough balls, with all proceeds coming to Cancer Relief.
For one day only, Pizza Express customers got to indulge in a portion of 8 delicious cinnamon coated dough balls served with a white chocolate dip for only £1. Doing good has never tased so sweet!
Our Fundraising team were outside Pizza Express in Ocean Village serving up the freshly cooked, warm doughballs to passers-by and those visiting the restaurant.
We were honoured and privileged to be invited by Pizza Express and Ocean Village Management to take part in this initiative. Events like these are not only important for raising money to fund our essential free services for all those affected by cancer in our community, but also, they allow us to undertake outreach work in the community. Our fundraising staff had many conversations throughout the course of the day with members of the public and other local business owners and had the opportunity to talk to people about the services we provide, how to contact us and how we are here to support all those who are affected by a cancer diagnosis, not just the patient themselves.
We are very grateful to Pizza Express chef’s, staff and management for their support on the day and for helping us raise awareness to people living with the affects of cancer is our community, as well of course helping us to raise some much ‘kneaded dough.’
