Cancer Relief Annual Pancake Day once again brought community spirit and plenty of pancakes filled with delicious toppings to many in our community.

From the moment doors opened at Calpe Rowing Club, the atmosphere was filled with the unmistakable sense of togetherness that defines our community. Families, friends, volunteers and supporters came together not just to enjoy pancakes, but to make a difference and fundraise together as one to support our charity.

We are incredibly grateful to Calpe Rowing Club and their hardworking staff for being such welcoming hosts. Their continued support helps make this much loved annual event possible.
The event was supported by a fantastic group of sponsors and donors. We are grateful to AglaÏa Beauty and Care, Costa Coffee Gibraltar and Pizza Express Gibraltar for their generous raffle prizes, and to Fitness Fusion Crew for bringing energy and smiles with their Zumba Kids class. A huge thanks also to NatWest International for sending volunteers who helped everywhere, from serving tables to clearing up, running our merchandise stall and more.

Our catering donors played a vital role in the day’s success. Thank you to Fasta Food Limited, Gibmaroc Ltd, Saccone and Speed, and Sam’s Kitchen Gibraltar for their generous contributions.
Pancake Day did not stop at Calpe Rowing Club. Restaurants across Gibraltar got involved too for those who wanted to support us but couldn’t make it to our event. A big thank you to BrunchIt, Europa Point Café, Freska E1 Gibraltar, Jury’s Café and Wine Bar, Lord Nelson Bar Brasserie, Moniques Bistro and Café, My Wines Gibraltar Ltd, Star Bar, The Muscle Bakery, The Queen’s Picturehouse and Eatery, and Ramsons Supermarket for joining in the fun.
A special thank you to Julia Horne, current Miss Gibraltar, who has chosen Cancer Relief as one of her charities of the year and continues to support our events with such genuine care and enthusiasm. Her presence on the day meant a great deal to our team and supporters alike.

We were also delighted to see companies, schools and the University of Gibraltar hosting their own Pancake Day celebrations or ordering takeaway pancakes in support of Cancer Relief. This wider participation reflects just how deeply our community cares. Around 1,000 pancakes were flipped and packed just for takeaway preorders on the day. It really shows how much our community cares.

Above all, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers and staff whose hard work and commitment made the day possible. Events like this are no small undertaking!
To everyone who attended, ordered takeaways, visited supporting restaurants or contributed in any way, thank you. Your support helps us continue to provide vital care, comfort and practical assistance to individuals and families navigating cancer.
