Our annual Biggest Coffee Morning once again brought the community together for a morning filled with coffee, cake and connection, and what a turnout it was. The event was well attended, with tables full of sandwiches, homemade bakes and delicious treats generously shared and enjoyed by all.
This year, we introduced a few changes to help the morning run more smoothly, including separate stations for food and drinks. The new layout was very well received and helped keep everything flowing perfectly throughout the day.
We were also delighted to be joined by Miss Gibraltar, who came along to support and enjoy this much-loved community event.
A big thank you goes to the participating restaurants who supported the occasion – Latino’s Bistro, Europa Café, Corks, Costa Coffee and even a takeaway coffee option at Risso’s Daily. Their involvement added a special touch to the day and helped make the event even more inclusive across the community.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the many companies and individuals who generously donated cakes and bakes for the event to raise a much needed funds to run our vital services.
We were also thrilled to see many schools and local businesses hosting their own Coffee Mornings in support of the cause. We know how much time and effort goes into baking and organising these events, and we’re so grateful to everyone who got involved.
Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, energy and kindness of those who step forward to lend a hand. Because of this, a heartfelt thanks goes to our amazing Cancer Relief Volunteers and our friends at NatWest, whose help on the day was invaluable, as well as for their generous donation.
