Every year we host a Christmas party for our Day Support services users, including a full traditional Christmas lunch with turkey and all the trimmings, generously provided by xx, not forgetting the delicious Christmas puddings which this year were provided by xx.
On Wednesday 18th December, we enjoyed a day of festive fun. Our patients were treated to music by xx as they tucked into their turkey and were then serenaded by the wonderful children from St. Joseph’s school who sang some fun and alternative carols. Santa also paid us a visit, giving out gifts and sweets and adding to the festive camaraderie and Christmas atmosphere.
The day was capped off with our annual Christmas raffle. We had some fantastic prizes donated by our hugely generous business community. Our day support team, including the patients selected the lucky winners at random. It really was a beautiful day and so wonderful to see the patients with big smiles on their faces. There were many highlights of the day but these are some of our favourites.
