On Sunday, April 13th, the Alameda Gardens came alive with laughter, colour, and a bit of adventure. With the spring sunshine finally breaking through after the rain, families gathered for our much-anticipated Annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt—and what a magical morning it was!
Children of all ages took part in a whimsical treasure hunt, solving clues that led them to different landmarks around the Gardens. Each clever clue brought them one step closer to a sweet reward—a delicious chocolate prize waiting at the end of their journey.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship from ComeOn Group and the wonderful support from Allied Traders and Restsso, the day was packed with Easter treats and springtime surprises. But the fun didn’t stop at chocolate!
Once the hunt was complete, children had access to fun games and activities in the newly unveiled “Education Zone.” Here, a face painter transformed children of all ages before they gathered around for springtime stories and tales from our storyteller. Crafts, from colouring-in activities to creating floppy-eared bunny hats, sparked creativity, and a variety of festival games brought laughs and prizes to all who played.
But beyond the fun and festivities, the day held a deeper meaning. This heart-warming event also helped raise awareness and support for the Cancer Relief Centre, reminding us that while cancer touches many lives in our community, we are never alone. Through events like these, we continue to lift each other up and give back in meaningful ways.
A massive thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this day truly egg-stra special. Until next year—keep hopping, helping, and holding onto the joy of community!
