It was a busy weekend for Cancer Relief on 15th March! We were lucky enough to have events fundraising for the charity across Gib, kicking off with a fantastic St Patrick’s Day Family Fun Day in Ocean Village. Our volunteers were on hand to support a busy and fun-filled day with Lucky the Leprechaun, treasure hunts, games & activities, face painting with all proceeds coming to Cancer Relief. A fantastic £839.00 was raised on the day with a special thank you to Gedime Motors for their generous donation of £300.00 on the day.

At the same time, the fabulous Etain Boyd hosted a fantastic Super Saturday 6 Nations Charity Lunch in aid of Cancer Relief Gibraltar and PossAbilities Gibraltar. Boosted by a  well-supported raffle and auction, and a wonderful group of rugby fans committed to fundraising for our two charities, the impressive sum of £1887.50 was raised! Special mention to the IPA Club for being such a welcoming and supportive venue, your kindness truly made the day feel special.

If that weren’t enough, Alan Clarke hosted his ever-popular Pub Quiz at Little Rock later on in the week in support of Cancer Relief and the support group Walking Together. Once again, a group of determined quizzers came together to enjoy challenging their general knowledge and raise funds. Thanks to great support from Little Rock, the event was a success once again with £595.70 donated to Cancer Relief.

After such a busy week, we want to take a moment to thank each and every person who choses to take time out of their lives to fundraise for charity. We hope you all know that your support means the world to us and to those benefiting from our services! The funds raised will go a long way in helping us continue to support our community, and we simply would not be able to keep our doors open without you! Thank you all!
